PSL DC Update – 02 April 2013

The following cases will appear before the Premier Soccer League DC.

- Dynamos: Charged with contravening the Kit Manual after one of Dynamos’ players worse a jersey with a number different to the one displayed on his shorts during their NFD fixture against Roses United at Giyani Stadium, 09 March 2013.
Matter was postponed at the request of Dynamos. New date not set yet.

- Sivutsa Stars: They face two charges: First charge is for contravening Rule 8.9.1 and Rule 10.1 after the failed to procure a doctor for the spectators in their fixture against Thanda Royal Zulu at Thulamahashe Stadium on 28 November 2012. Sivutsa are also charged for failure to arrive in the change rooms at the stipulated time (60 minutes before kick-off) at the same game. This delayed kick-off of the match by 10 minutes. Sivutsa have pleaded guilty.
The second charge is for contravening Rule 8.9.2 in their fixture against African Warriors on 10 March 2013 at the Kabokweni Stadium. Sivutsa have pleaded guilty.

- Witbank Spurs: They face three separate charges for contravening Rule 8.9.4. Spurs allegedly failed to procure the services of a spectator doctor in their fixture against Jomo Cosmos at the Puma Stadium on 09 March 2013. Secondly, they also failed to procure the services of a spectator doctor in their fixture against Milano United on 03 March 2013 at Puma Stadium. They also face a third (similar) offence in their game against Vasco da Gama at the Puma Stadium on 16 March 2013.
Witbank Spurs pleaded guilty to two charges and were fined R5 000.00 for each offence.

- Roses United: Charged with contravening Rule 8.9.4 after they failed to procure a doctor for the spectators in their game against Vasco da Gama at the Botshabelo Stadium on 03 March 2013. The matter is proceeding on 03 April 2013.

- Orlando Pirates: Charged with contravening Rule 12.2 and Rule 12.3after they failed to change to white shorts as an away side in order to avoid clash of colours before their fixture against Kaizer Chiefs on 09 March 2013 at the FNB Stadium.
Pirates will appear on 04 April 2013. The matter is proceeding on 04 April 2013.

- Kaizer Chiefs: Charged with contravening Rule 10.5 after they failed to allow the opposition team, Polokwane City FC access to their change room at least four hours before kick-off in their Cup fixture on 16 March 2013 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium and only gave them access approximately one hour before kickoff. They will appear on 10 April 2013.
